Carroll Family Easter

After hunting eggs in town, we headed over to my parents' to celebrate Easter with our family.  Of course, the kids always are eager to go and have a great time playing with Grandma and Grandpa and all their cousins.  Grandma and Grandpa helped all the kids color Easter Eggs Saturday - lots of fun and no major egg or dye incidents with 5 kids coloring eggs!
We got the kids to pose for a quick picture after church before getting their church clothes dirty - looks like quite a group of hams!
They enjoyed an Easter Egg hunt after lunch.  My kids should be getting pretty good at this - three egg hunts in the past week!  They each hunted their own color at Grandma Carroll's house.  Blaine was hunting yellow eggs and although he occasionally found or picked up another color, he would promptly throw it back down.  But he did find one of his here - "Tant reach mine wewwow egg!"
Ava did a great job finding all of her eggs too.  I think that all the kids did pretty well, although Cody had a few tough eggs to find.  Apparently, his Easter bunny (who happened to be his Daddy) decided to be a bit trickier!
And we all got in some Carson cuddling time this weekend too.  Blaine wanted to hold him too, so I sat Carson on his lap (taking up his whole lap plus some) while he sat on the couch.  He was happy to hold and talk to Carson until someone mentioned a treat, then I was glad that I was right there to catch baby Carson as Blaine pushed him off his lap to find a more attractive option.  He did then also spend quite a bit of time teaching Carson how to play with all the toys on the Excersaucer, talking to him the whole time.  So cute to watch him interact with his baby cousin - I am sure that they will be good buds.
