Strawberry Season!

We started picking some strawberries on Memorial Day and continued to have tons of berries for several weeks.  We do love strawberries around our house and enjoyed strawberries with ice cream, strawberry shortcake, strawberry bread, strawberries with toast and lots of other strawberry treats.  Makes for some great front porch-sitting while eating berries too!

 I love having a berry patch, but we couldn't eat nearly as many berries as it produced this year - lots of friends and neighbors enjoyed berries too as I was giving berries to everyone!
