Ass all good things must, t-ball season came to an end. I enjoy coaching the kids, but I am often also ready for a break by the end of the season. Coaching t-ball sometimes feels like herding cats - especially with the youngest kids with no attention span:)
To celebrate our last game, I took the kids to get ice cream after the game. The poor gal scooping ice cream had her work cut out for her when we brought all these hungry kids in the door! They enjoyed the ice cream and one last fun team activity. Ava seemed to not be enjoying t-ball as much by the end of the season, but she is eager to play softball - I think that she was getting a bit bored with t-ball and ready to move on to play with older girls. And to play when the dugout doesn't smell like sweaty boys that she has sometimes complained about! :)
