The kids loved the recent snow that we got! They were very eager to go out and play in it. But they were also very eager to shovel it as well! I really hope that they stay so eager to shovel snow when they are bigger!!! Blaine gets very defensive about "his" shovel and doesn't want to let anyone else shovel with it.
I was amused when I looked out though to see him using his shovel to fill his dump truck and haul the snow off of the driveway one dump truck at a time:) May take a while that way, but he was getting the job done. And I don't think Ava knew when to stop shoveling and just kept right on going out through the yard.
We also got in some sledding behind the Ranger, even in the dark after supper one night. They both love it, even with the snow flying in their faces and dumping in the sides of the sled. Blaine really wasn't so keen on sledding last year due to the snow in his face, but apparently he has overcome that issue.
