I have been feeling pretty good about myself and my new-found craftiness and sewing ability (I actually use that term pretty lightly!) as I have taken on some sewing projects recently. I have been working on some John Deere curtains for Blaine's room to match his bedding. He was helping me the other day as I was pinning them. He helped by putting pins in but before I knew it, he had gotten his tools out and was hammering the pins in, then screwing them in, then wrenching them in the fabric. I thought that I was catching on to this sewing thing fairly decent but apparently I have totally been missing the boat because I haven't been using hammers, drills and wrenches in my sewing projects!
