I know - exceedingly random, but just wanted to include a couple of pictures of what we have been up to lately. Anyway, spring is finally upon us, meaning the tractors are rolling in our neck of the woods. Last Friday, I took the kids to John's work, which is always a treat since they both love John Deere. But this evening was extra special since we had supper with John and then the kids spent the rest of the evening with him in a tractor working ground in the field around the store. All the best in one night!
But I also have to share the very different evening that the kids experienced together tonight when we got home. Ava used her AWANA points at store night last night to "buy" a princess makeup kit. She opened it when we got home tonight and immediately got Blaine to be her subject for a makeover! He obediently closed his eyes for the application of the green eye shadow, held still for the blue blush on his cheeks, etc. So fun to see them playing so well together in such a variety of topics - be it games, pretend, tractors or makeup!
