I'm a bit late on posting , but thought that I would share a bit from our Easter weekend. We started out Saturday morning with the town Easter egg hunt. The kids were so excited about going, but were even more excited when they got there and saw so many of their friends had also shown up to hunt eggs.
Ava and Blaine both found lots of eggs, yielding lots of candy. Ava also had a winning ticket in the drawing, so got to pick an extra special prize - she chose a huge box of crayons, even with a built-in sharpener! :)
After the excitement of the morning egg hunt, we headed to my parents for fun with cousins and another Easter egg hunt and egg coloring. Easter Sunday started with a great church service at my parents' church, then family lunch at my aunt and uncle's house. This also involved yet another Easter egg hunt with all the other great-grandkids. My kids were getting pretty good at hunting eggs after 4 egg hunts this Easter! It was a beautiful day and we enjoyed playing with some of the new toys outside:) Lots of fun and family time to celebrate our Savior's resurrection!!
