Labor Day Fun With Cousins

We didn't have any special plans for Labor Day Weekend - a little time spent at the Earl Park Festival for the tractor pull and parade, but nothing too exciting.  So I invited Doug and Brandy over and they decided to make the trip to come see us.  The kids were all very excited to see each other and play for the day!  They didn't get her until lunch time, but the kids played all kinds of things all afternoon.  Blaine enjoyed the opportunity to teach Carson how to drive a tractor:)  I think that Blaine liked being the "big kid" for a change since he has normally been the littlest of the gang.

 We took all the kids to the park too and they had a blast!  They needed the opportunity to expend some energy:)  I got four out of the five to pose for a quick picture - although Cody is making his typical funny photo face!  Blaine was not going to hold still long enough for a picture and Carson was pooped after refusing to take a nap earlier in the afternoon, therefore sleeping through the park experience.

 Then all the kids enjoyed pizza and ice cream before the Carroll kids headed back home. It was a fun day for the kids to play and for the adults to visit and enjoy each other's company.
