Today was the first time Ava rode the bus to school. I am putting her on the bus on the 2 days a week that I am not working unless we find out that is not working for some reason. She does have to get up a half hour earlier to ride the bus than if I take her so we will see if that sleep is needed badly or not:). John even stuck around and went to work late just so that he could share in her first bus pick up. She was so excited that Daddy was here this morning! She was also very excited as she watched the bus come down the road. As I mentioned yesterday, I am not an overly emotional momma normally, but I won't lie - both her Daddy and I were a bit choked up watching her board that big yellow bus. Seems like an even bigger girl getting on the bus than when I just dropped her off yesterday. So now seems odd that just Blaine and I have the whole day together with no sissy - I am sure that we will find plenty to do to fill our time until she comes home.
On another note though, she got a urinary tract infection last night - we were up several times as she had to pee and crying because it hurt:(. Hopefully we can get that resolved quickly!
