We headed to my parents' for the weekend to have Christmas with my family. The kids always are super excited to not only see Grandma and Grandpa, but also to play with their cousins. And this trip was even more exciting of course since there were Christmas and presents involved! We got a quick family picture before the chaos of gift opening ensued.
Baby Carson was happy in Grandma Shirley's lap during most of the gift opening - not too concerned about what he got. But Blaine had to stop by and visit with him from time to time.Blaine loved all his tractors and enjoyed showing them to Grandpa Milt.
The kids liked their new jammies and lawn chairs and eagerly posed for a picture.
Grandpa made Blaine a tool shed for his tractors and this is obviously one of his favorite presents! He had to get Daddy and Grandpa to play with him first thing in the morning even. This tool shed is nearly full already and Santa hasn't even visited our house yet!
After a full weekend, we had a sleepy little elf on the way home:)
We did then enjoy a nice Christmas Eve service at church, although I had to spend half of the service out in the foyer with a very talkative little boy. The final straw was when he started making fake puking noises that Grandpa taught him earlier today! Apparently, I need to teach him (as I have Ava) that some things that they learn from Grandpa are only to be done with Grandpa! But I am looking forward to a fun Christmas day with more playing and family:)
