Trip to Grandma and Grandpa's

We made a trip to may parents' this weekend to drop Ava off for "Camp Grandma" for a few days.  I know that she was already loving every minute of it when we left!  But Blaine had a good visit too - even though he probably wouldn't like Mommy leaving him there for a few days like Ava does.  Maybe someday he will become a little less of a Mommy's boy and venture out some (although I really don't mind it all that much most of the time;) ).  Anyway, I just thought that I would share a couple of pictures of Blaine from his weekend.

I am sure he was making his Daddy proud when he was wearing around the princess tiara for a lot of the evening:)

 But he really had a great time swimming in the pond.  He thinks he is such a big boy just running out in the water and diving in.  And he always wanted to go out farther to be with the bigger kids - he even wanted to jump off the pier like Ava and Aubrey, but I didn't think he was quite ready for that yet!  He did love the slide though - such a big boy climbing up by himself and splashing down into the water.

 Notice he couldn't take the hat off even to swim:)  He always has to have his hat when he goes outside!  John got him a couple of nice, new John Deere hats, but he will not wear them - always has to have this one!

And I know Ava will come home Wednesday with lots of stories to tell us about her adventures at Camp Grandma!!!
