I know - these topics don't really seem to go together, but I just happen to have some pictures of both to share:) While Ava was gone at Camp Grandma, Blaine enjoyed some alone time with Mommy and helped me make some cookies. He is learning to be an expert bowl licker, just like his sister!
In addition to the cookie dough on his face that you see in this picture, I also had to wash it out of his hair, his eyelids and all over the counter:)
And here is the parade part - Ava and John joined another Castongia's employee and his daughter (who happens to be one of Ava's friends) in the Wolcott 4th of July parade. The girls had a great time throwing out candy together, but were HOT little girls by the end of the parade!
