I love watching imaginations come alive in my kids. I am seeing a lot more pretend play and imagination from Ava lately and it is fun to see. She plays house a lot and this morning was no different - playing house in the basement. I was amused as she got all her kids ready to go to the babysitter and brought them to me, telling them to be good as she left for work:) Then I had to help her take them home because she couldn't fit them all in her car and couldn't push the rest in the stroller while driving the car. After a while, she drove herself to the hospital and proceeded to give birth out of her shirt to 4 kids! Including a baby cow and baby horse! And she was teaching her ducky kid how to use the Elmo computer here.
At least she does have a few less babies and toys around now after I made her clean her room the other day and told her to choose some toys to get rid of. After choosing a couple old, ratty toys to throw away, she decided to pick a Barbie, a bottle and a baby to give to a friend. When I asked her about getting rid of the baby, she just replied "that one fusses too much!" I had to laugh - and also had to warn her friend's mom that she was getting a fussy baby:)Blaine loves playing house with Ava too - he spent a LONG time just pushing two babies around the basement in a stroller. And got mad if Ava tried to take them out of his stroller. Then proceeded to put them in the car and give them a ride, just as he had seen Ava do with her babies.
So fun to watch these kids play and grow together. Blaine thinks he is such a big kid and wants to do everything like sissy does. Making him grow up much faster!
