Christmas Parade

We headed in town this afternoon for the Christmas parade.  We had not been to it before, but it was a nice day and Ava loves parades, so we headed to town.  It was actually a pretty impressive parade for our small town - and, yes, lots of candy.  But at least at least a lot of it was good (i.e. chocolate:) ) candy, so John and I will be more than willing to help her eat some of it!

 Then we went to the fire station, where Santa was waiting for kids after the parade.  Ava met up with Lauren and they talked to Santa.  Ava told him that she wanted "a Lalaloopsy and everything" and Lauren requested a telephone.

 Blaine wasn't sure totally what to think of Santa, but like his bells a lot:)
