Preschool Christmas Program

I have never been to a preschool program of any kind, so I didn't know totally what to expect from a bunch of 3 & 4 year olds, but it was entertaining:)  Ava's school program was last night and we all enjoyed it a lot.  Ava had been practicing her songs and doing a great job at home, but I didn't know how it would go when she was up in front of lots of people.  But she did great!  She performed all the motions and I am sure that she was singing at least part of the time.  I tried to get a nice picture of her all dressed up for her program, but this is the best I got...

Here is her class singing - Ava is on the far left.  I didn't get great pictures since we were sitting a little ways back and I was holding Blaine while taking pictures since John couldn't seem to operate the camera:)
They all had a good time jingling their bells while singing Jingle Bells.
Ava did a great job - and wasn't even one of the kids hiking her dress up, scratching their butt, calling out to Grandma, standing scared stiff, coming to try and take the microphone from the teacher, or even like her buddy Case below (sorry Julie, but I couldn't resist!).
We did have a good time.  All of Ava's grandparents came to watch her and we got to see and catch up with all kinds of neighbors and friends - apparently, the preschool Christmas program brings the whole community out!  The high school auditorium was ~3/4 full to watch the 50+ kids in both preschool classes!
