This is how I spent my morning Thursday... The kids had been playing in a drawer in my vanity where I keep extra hair stuff and other things that I never use. I saw Ava had this brush and warned her not to use it on her hair since it can easily get tangled up. Of course, it wasn't two minutes later when she came to me like this... (sorry about the poor cell phone pics)
Oh - what a mess it was - that brush was not budging! So I put Blaine down for a nap and proceeded to see what I could do with this mess. After 40 minutes, I finally got the brush out after cutting all the plastic bristles off the brush and quite a bit of hair too, as you can see...
Surprisingly, her hair didn't look as bad as I thought it might - but a lot of short layers around her face. So Thursday afternoon we visited Erika for a professional haircut to at least make even layers around her face. It looks OK now - just need to let it grow out a while I guess. What joys of raising kids:)!
