For unto us a Savior is born! We all know the real meaning of Christmas, but I pray that we all can go a step further and accept the free gifts of grace, mercy and eternal salvation offered by Jesus.
I often hear people talking about being "good" or "nice" in order to go to heaven, but unfortunately, that is not what it takes in order to spend eternity with our Heavenly Father. It takes accepting Jesus as our personal savior, realizing that he came to earth and died on the cross for our sins and developing a personal relationship with Him. Even just believing in Jesus does not get us into Heaven - we know that even Satan believes in Jesus.
So I pray for each and every one of you this Christmas that you not only remember the true reason for this celebration, but you also have accepted His gifts of grace, mercy and eternal salvation!
