Like all the rest of the Midwest, we were buried under snow today! We were praying hard that Baby didn't decide to make his appearance last night!!! Thankfully, he waited out the storm - so I am back to wishing he would come any time now:) But all of the snow did result in snow days from work for both John and I, so we had a full day to play with Ava. John and Ava enjoyed some time playing in the snow and the big drifts -great for sledding down!
Ava & I made some cookies after lunch - Ava is a great helper in the kitchen, especially when it comes to bowl-licking:) But she did decide to share some of the cookies with Rick when he came back this afternoon to push snow (for the 2nd time today) in our driveway. Rick really appreciated the cookies, as well as the Ava visit. And Ava would have been happy to stay in the skidsteer with Rick forever, but John finally convinced her to get out and play in the snow a bit more before coming in for supper. So, all in all, not a bad way to spend a snow day!
