Is this week over yet?!?!?

Ever just have one of those weeks?  We obviously are this week!  Of course, we have the issues with Blaine and his NICU stay.  On top of that, we were in an accident on our way to the hospital on Monday - we were hit by another vehicle that slid out into the street a couple of blocks from the hospital.  So now we (actually, John, thankfully!) are dealing with insurance company stuff, adjustors and needing to get some body work done on his truck.  Thankfully, it is still fine to drive.  Oh - and did I mention that the guy that caused the accident did not have insurance on his truck yet?  Ava actually seemed to enjoy "bumping" and has talked about it often -  now we are trying to explain to her that crashing is NOT a good thing!!

Then yesterday, John realized that the car won't start after sitting in the shed for a few weeks.  The battery charger didn't even do the trick, so not sure what is going on there.  But we may need it to drive while getting the truck fixed.

And last night, I came down with a case of mastitis!  Thankfully, the fever and chills have subsided and I worked hard to pump it out last night, but I am still pretty sore.  I requested a visit from the lactation nurse when I got to the hospital this morning and she verified the mastitis and gave me some suggestions.  So now I am just waiting on a call back from my Dr with an antibiotic prescription and can hopefully get this resolved quickly.

As they say, when it rains, it pours!  I really hope that we don't have many other issues this week!!!!!!  On a positive note, Blaine is doing great still.  He is quite the eater though!  I am having to start supplementing him with formula after nursing often and he is eating 2-3 oz every feeding through the night when I am gone.  I think we are going to have a big, growing boy on our hands:)
