Camp Out With Grandma

John's Mom has been off work for a couple of weeks and had Lilly and Bella up to stay with them for a couple of days.  So we had planned on going over to play with the girls some.  But then Grandma called Thursday and wondered if Ava would want to come over for a sleep over in the tent with them.  Of course, she thought that adventure sounded great!  So we took her over after supper.  Grandma wasn't brave enough to invite a 2 yr old little boy too, but did think she could try it with 3, 5 and 6 yr old little girls!  So as John, Blaine and I went home, we wondered how long they would actually stay in the tent!  Well, our answer came at around 10:30 when Nancy texted saying they were all back in the house!  Apparently, outside noises and the passing train were too scary!  But Blaine and I went over Friday and all the kids had a great time playing together!

 Lilly and Ava loved sliding over and over again on the inflatable water slide.  Blaine tried it a time or two, but wasn't thrilled with it when he fell off and rolled on the ground, so just played in the water rather than sliding.  And Bella doesn't like to get wet - just likes to put her swimsuit on and play around a little in the puddle of water at the end of the slide.

But they all went running quickly when Grandma came out with popsicles!

 Blaine loves hanging out with his Grandpas - so thought he was cool sitting in a chair like Grandpa and eating a blue popsicle like Grandpa!

Overall, all the kids had fun, and I think Grandma and Grandpa did too.  Although, I am sure that Grandma and Grandpa will be resting a lot after Lilly and Bella head back home today:)
