Ava has been wanting to get her hair cut latley, so when my cousin Michelle came for supper at Mom and Dad's with us last weekend, she also gave Ava a hiar cut. Ava originally wanted her hair as short as Blaine's, but I vetoed that idea. I told her that it could be as short as mine if she wanted, but that was as short as we would go. I love her short hair, even though it makes her look a bit older - not the little girl in pigtails anymore! But it is much easier to work with and we don't fight over taking tangled pigtail holders out every night.
