Blaine was soooooo excited for his birthday party - cousins, friends, presents, cake, etc.!!! Saturday finally arrived and he did have a lot of fun. We ended up having about a dozen kids total and the house was not very quiet:) Blaine was also excited that his buddy, Brady, came over - they are two peas in a pod!
After helping Blaine open presents, Ava handed out party bags and showed off the moustache from in her bag:)
Blaine had determined a few weeks ago that he wanted a Paw Patrol theme for his birthday party. My mom always graciously makes and decorates cakes for the kids, but since she does not have the Nick Jr channel, nor have little kids in the house, she had to do a little research before she could put the Paw Patrol pups on his cake!
My mom's clown talents were also requested for the party, and she never says no to kid requests, so she brought her balloon stash with her. The kids loved having their own clown to request all kinds of balloon creations. Sondra even enjoyed modeling a balloon hat:)
There was a lot of playing going on, but we adults also had a good time getting together and visiting with one another. When I asked Blaine if he enjoyed his party day, he said he did, except for the part when everyone went home. I think that the kids did get all worn out with an afternoon/evening of playing hard - they slept well at least!!
