We spent the day Saturday taking in the Springfest activities at Purdue - so many things to see and do all over campus. We ended up seeing, playing, doing and learning at the various exhibits for 5 hours and didn't see even close to all of it. But we had lot of fun and the kids did all kinds of things. We started by seeing, petting and holding all kinds of insects at the Bug Bowl.
They also made lot of insect crafts (ladybug hat, dragonfly, butterflies, caterpillar, etc) and Ava got a beautiful butterfly painted on her face.
Of course, we had to visit the vet school open house - lots to see and do there. The kids even petted a snake there! I did not:) But I did get close enough to take a picture though!
Blaine also like holding this crab at the biology department exhibit. Until he decided he was done though - and just tossed him back in the water.
All in all, a great day of learning and doing! But we ended up with some tired kids:)
