Blizzard

This is more snow and colder weather than we have seen for a looooooong time!  Looks like we are going to be snowed in for another day tomorrow too.  It didn't snow at all today, but the extremely high winds made impossible snow drifts.  There has been no way to keep roads clear or dig anything out yet - hopefully this wind stops soon and some headway can be made at clearing snow.  Meanwhile, we are spending more family bonding time together inside!  This is the view from our front window - hard to even see out with all the snow!

And so much snow outside!!!  Going to take a bit to get through our driveway - the drifts are all waist to shoulder deep.

I was out for a bit this afternoon to shovel around the doors and feed the dog and cat.  It was cold and blustery and hard to walk through a lot of the snow.  I love all the time with my family, but I am starting to get a bit stir crazy - especially with the extra days at home with sick kids too.  Blaine was feeling pretty good most of the day today, so hopefully he is on the mend and will be feeling totally better by the time we get dug out of all this snow!!!
