We were getting the mattress and box springs for Blaine's new bed from my parents so we just got those and were able to set up Blaine's new bed today. We made a trip over there for a baby shower on Saturday and to attend baby Carson's baptism on Sunday. It was a good weekend and we came home with the rest of Blaine's bed. He was very excited about it, particularly since we had gotten him John Deere tractor bedding:) Both Blaine and Ava eagerly helped us take apart the crib and put up the new bed. Once we got it all together, we couldn't hardly get the kids out of the bed - they both loved his new bed! He was also excited to go to bed in it, but then whined for Mommy, so I went in and cuddled a bit, then continued to listen to him toss and turn for a while before finally falling asleep. Hopefully he stays there all night with no problems. My little man is growing up into a big boy!
And along with new furniture comes new pieces of cardboard - bonus! Large pieces of cardboard and markers can provide for lots and lots of fun and entertainment.
