There is obviously something about puddles that acts like a magnet for kids - mine at least are immediately drawn to them. So they were super excited last night when I told them as I picked them up at the sitter that we would go home and splash in puddles! I had to get Blaine some new puddle boots recently as the ones he had had to be squeezed on and I knew that he could not go without puddle boots. These are still a bit big, but he doesn't let that stop him from puddle splashing fun. After Blaine fell down into the water several times, I decided it was time to go inside. I had to carry him kicking and screaming into the house because he did not want to leave the puddle. I stripped both kids down in the garage among a soggy pile of clothes, dumped all the water out of their boots and bribed them with fruit snacks to come inside:) It was lots and lots of fun though!
