Belated Easter Pictures

I am a little late with these, but wanted to share some anyway.  As I mentioned, we spent our Easter Sunday with no big family plans.  We did make it over to visit John's Grandma then stop back by his parents for supper.  And my parents were over on Saturday to celebrate with the kids.  We colored Easter eggs Saturday and the kids had fun with that.  Ava always loves coloring and decorating them.  And Blaine got his first Easter egg experience as well.  He loved the eggs - calling them balls of course!  He loved dunking his egg in the dye (and splashing a lot of purple dye all over the table!) and it was hard to get it away from him to give him another egg to color.

 Blaine also enjoyed playing with the eggs that were already done - saying "ba" "ba" "ba" as he repeatedly banged his "ball" against the table.  Of course, these balls didn't hold up to that abuse all that well as you can see!

And just thought that I would share a picture of my Easter cuties too - they looked pretty good after they got all dressed up for church.  I wanted to get a good picture of just the two of them, but Blaine was in a "Mommy only" mood and wanted NO part of sitting with his sister!  So all I got was Ava trying to squeeze him tight to hold him still and Blaine wailing for Mama - the reality of raising kids;)
