Ava got to spend the weekend at Grandma and Grandpa Carroll's after they picked her up last Friday. She had lots of fun of course - plenty of play time with not only Grandma and Grandpa but cousins as well. We went over Sat afternoon to pick her up. Blaine joined Ava in the fun times in Grandma and Grandpa's basement. Here Ava tries out the new swing Grandpa made for in the basement. Quite fun!
And Blaine enjoyed basement play time too - especially anything that involves balls!
I got my camera out for a bit this afternoon and Blaine immediately starts hamming it up:) Such a cute little guy though. It has just recently hit me that he is growing up into a big boy and no longer my little baby. He has mastered his snack cup with the spillproof lid, knows and follows simple commands and has started picking up on some signs. He has gotten the hang of the sign for "more" (although not perfect, but consistent). So now he uses this sign all the time to signal that he wants food! He stands in front of the pantry or frig signing "more" - it is just so cute that I have to comply:)
Ava was having a good time in her cave this afternoon -she had to bring the bears in too. After all, we all know that bears live in caves. But no fear - she assured me that these were not scary bears:) I love it that my kids can be so easily amused by such simple things!
