How Many Times...

Do I have to run loads of laudry through the washer before I no longer find puke chunks???  I know - a rather disgusting thought, but at least you are not the one experiencing it!  Ava got sick Sunday night and puked in her bed.  John promptly took all the bedding and threw it in the washer, puke and all.  Apparently, puke does not just disappear in the washer - it just gets clean and ends up in the washer seal and the dryer lint trap!  After changing her bedding and rocking a while, I put her back in bed, where she promptly puked again - so another load of laundry.  The third time she puked, she made it all in the bucket at least.  I had already ran out of sheets for her bed and tucked in a set of queen sheets.  And today, I am still finding bits of puke in my washer and dryer - three loads of laudry later.  Ewwwww!

The good news is that she is feeling better and Blaine has not gotten the pukes yet.  Blaine and I both have a cold with runny noses and he has a cough that keeps him from sleeping well.  Hopefully this will get better too before his birthday party this weekend!  I hope that you are all staying healthy, but remember, if you have pukey stuff to wash, rinse the puke chunks off first or you will be finding the clean and dry chunks for days to come!!
