We had a pretty boring weekend going on last Saturday, so we decided to get out and do something. After some debating and thinking, we decided to take Ava miniature golfing. She had never done anything like this before, but was excited to go. As soon as John asked her if she wanted to go golfing, she immediately ran to the office, confusing John. But she was after the golf tee that she had found in a desk drawer that morning. I had tried to explain to her what it was, so she had to go get her "golf" :)
Anyway, we decided to call Grandma and Grandpa Woods on the way and see if they wanted to go with us. They decided to join in on the fun too.

John tried to teach Ava how to hit the ball with her golf club - she really enjoyed her purple ball and green club!

It didn't take her long to cath on to the concept. But it was more difficult to teach her that she was only supposed to hit her purple ball towards the hole - she liked to help all of our balls to the hole:)
But we had a good time. Then enjoyed some pizza, a visit to Great Grandma Woods, then some ice cream. Turned out to be a pretty good Saturday.
