It just really amuses me to watch and listen to my nearly 2 year old! I am not sure what we did at all before Ava was in our lives! I thought I would share a couple of these recent amusements with you.
First of all, I love it when Ava prays with me at bedtime every night. I usually start off by thanking God for a great day and so on - then she chimes in and starts thanking God for all the important people and things in her life... "tant you mommy, tant you daddy, tant you Allie, tant you Cara, tant you Megan, tant you Kelsie, tant you Ron... tant you Goofy, tant you Mickey Mouse...tant you balloons...tant you bouncing..." Her priorities take a little different perspecitve right now:)
I also get really amused by the potty training. She is actually doing quite well. But she loves to pee outside in the grass... or on a bucket. There have been multiple times when we are outside playing that I look over and see her pulling pants down as she tells me "pee pee grass". I just need to start remembering to always have some paper towel or kleenex in my pockets to wipe - although she thinks it is great when I just dab her butt on the grass a few times:)
I am amused when she sees birds and tries to convince me that she is going to "catch bird" or better yet, when she thinks she can "reach airplane" that she sees in the sky!
I am not sure if I am amused or concerned though about Ava's fascination with sock fuzz. This seems really odd, but she always wants to take her socks off and systematically go through each toe and pick out the sock fuzz. She especially likes to do this when she is sitting on the potty.
So OK - Ava amuses me and makes me laugh at so much right now! She is truly a joy in our life and we couldn't imagine life without her now!!
