Ava visits Grandma Again...

John went with me to Omaha for my annual American Association of Swine Veterinarians meeting. Omaha wasn't really an exciting place for him to spend a few days of vacation, but he does enjoy spending time with the other vets and spouses. John has went with me for several years now, so he knows a lot of people now. But Omaha wasn't quite as exciting as the past few meeting locations - Dallas, San Diego, Orlando... Overall, we had a good time though. It is always a tiring meeting for me with so much going on, but John got to relax at least.

And Ava got to spend a few days and Grandma and Grandpa Carroll's again. Grandma sent me a few photos that I thought I would share with you.

Ava started her visit by taking some balloons to Great-Grandpa Rupley after he had his finger surgically removed from a wood-splitting accident that morning. He is already missing a finger on his other hand, so he doesn't have many extra to spare now!

Grandma and Grandpa took Ava to Shipshewana and visited a toy store. I am sure that this picture was taken mainly for Daddy's enjoyment:) And I was really surprised and impressed that Ava only left the toy store with one Thomas the Train book!

But Ava also got to ride the carousel at Shipshewana too.

Obviously enjoying some popcorn with Grandpa.

And I am not sure I want to know about this picture...
