Ava wasn't so sure of things at first with so many people and a different environment, but soon was having a great time! We spent about two hours in the water - playing, splashing, sliding, etc. They have a small kiddie pool area with the water-spitting alligator that was nice since it was a bit quieter and safer for toddlers. but most of the rest of the water area was only ~1 ft deep (3 ft at the deepest areas), so Ava could walk around in it herself. She also enjoyed pulling the "fuse" on the cannon to shoot water across the play area:) There are A LOT of water cannons here, and I was shot with them plenty of times! Both little girls had a great time though! Normal admission is $15, but we found that they have a special until the end of Feb where you buy one, get one free! And kids 2 and under are free anyway! So we may have to go back again with Daddy this month:)

Swimming In January!
We went to Buccaneer Bay (inside the Lafayette Best Western) yesterday with Amy and Lauren to play in the water park on a cold January day. We did make a trip to Target first and got Ava a swimsuit since she didn't have one that fit!

Ava was still talking about "pool" and "swimsuit" after she went to bed last night:) It was a fun time and a nice change of pace for us during the cold winter months.
