New "Do" and New Niece!

Our normal babysitter's husband has been sick with the flu this week, so Ava went to a back-up sitter a couple of days. I was surprised to pick her up on Tuesday to find these adorable braids in her hair. I would not have the patience to do this, but Kate obviously enjoyed it - she also has only 4 boys herself, so doesn't get to play with little girl hair on a normal basis:)



We have also had some exciting news this week - our niece Isabella ("Bella") Jayne Stewart was born Tuesday afternoon!! We are looking forward to visiting her this weekend - maybe I will have pictures to share after that. Bella and her mommy (Sondra) have had a tough road since Sondra was diagnosed with breast cancer while she was pregnant and has been undergoing chemo during her pregnancy.
