Downtown Disney

We stayed at the hotel where the conference was held, which happened to be right across the street from Downtown Disney.  This made it really convenient to spend a lot of time there visiting the shops, restaurants, and entertainment.  So many cool and fun things to do and see!

We could have spent a whole day at the Lego store I believe!  An entire store filled with Lego sets, a wall of bins of individual Legos, awesome Lego sculptures and Legos to play and build with everywhere!  We got the kids to pose with a few of the cool large sculptures.  They also enjoyed building Lego cars to race down the track.

We enjoyed lunch at the Rainforest Cafe one day.  An awesome atmosphere!  Realistic animals all around that move and make noise, as well as tons of large fish tanks.  The kids loved it when there was a "thunderstorm" in the restaurant and all the animals started going crazy!

We really liked this Lego dragon coming out of the lake!  And then there was the erupting volcano that made up the Rainforest Cafe building.  And the hot air balloon.  And the candy stores, toy stores, ice cream shops, bowling at Splitsville, the water taxi, the carousel...
