Lots of Christmas Fun!

I am once again behind in getting this posted, but thought i would share a bit from Christmas!  Kids were excited Christmas morning to see that Santa arrived overnight:)  Ava had to wait a while for Blaine to wake up, but John and I really didn't mind the extra snuggling with her in our bed for a bit!  The kids got to open their stockings while the ButterBraid baked for breakfast.  After breakfast, we got to open all the rest of the presents!  I think that Santa did a good job this year picking presents for the kids;)
Both kids got new fuzzy fleece sheets for their beds and absolutely loved them.  Blaine had to try his out right away - he got the camo and Ava got pink/zebra stripes.
After playing with lots of new toys and enjoying a relaxing lunch, we headed to John's parents' for our Woods Christmas.  Our kids were eager for their cousins to get there so they could open presents but had to wait for a bit since we got there first - oh, how hard!  I did get them to *almost* sit still for a minute for a picture together while waiting.
We enjoyed a good afternoon/evening with John's family and the kids got lots of new presents to play with together.  They all enjoyed playing with Bella's horses and barn and Blaine's new elevator worked well to put up hay bales in the barn!
There was also lots of marble fun with a new marble run too.
The next day, we headed to my parents' house to spend the night before having the Carroll family Christmas on Saturday.  We spent the afternoon with my grandparents and had supper with them.  We missed out on the Rupley Christmas with them so the kids got to open presents from Grandma Bert and Grandpa Milt.  Blaine loved his new dairy farm and enjoyed playing farm with Cody that night.  The kids even got to have a slumber party on Friday night with cousins.
Five kids outnumbered the four adults in the house and they weren't eager to go to bed, but they had lots of fun.  The girls all wanted to read by flashlight before going to sleep so Dad let them read some of his old books from when he was a kid.

We got a few decent pictures before opening presents at the Carroll Christmas - the living room did not look so neat and tidy afterwards!!!

Grandma and Grandpa were busy making some Christmas presents this year.  Dad made the last grandkid rocker - Carson loved his IH rocking tractor!  And Ava and Blaine look adorable in their new pig and frog aprons that mom made for them!

And Carson really enjoyed some marble run fun with Uncle John!
A busy time of year, but always one of my favorite times!  Love spending time with family and seeing all the excitement of the kiddos!
