WOW - what a week! I was really busy with VBS stuff last week, then we topped it off with a busy, but really fun, weekend. Jellybean the clown (AKA Mom) came over to attend VBS Friday and the kids loved her! Then Ava got to go home with her and Grandpa Friday, which made her day! She even got to go help Jellybean and the rest of the clowns Saturday as they clowned at a picnic. I was informed that she was not Ava, but Daisy the clown! John, Blaine and I headed over that way on Saturday and we visited Grandma and Grandpa Rupley and their pool. Blaine loves the water and had a great time.
But of course, swimming makes a boy hungry, so Blaine enjoyed some grapes with Grandpa Milt after a swim.
When we returned to Mom and Dad's, we found Mom and Ava in the pond, so Blaine proceeded to join them of course - no swim trunks needed apparently:) We then went to a tenderloin supper, got to check out the inside of the Samaritan hospital helicopter and even watch it take off when it had to leave for a run. The evening was topped off with lots of playing with cousins then. Grandma and Grandpa got out a new toy - the kids LOVED the big inflatable ball that they could roll around in!!!
And Blaine was enjoying the teeter-totter too - even if Uncle Doug wasn't all that much help riding it!
And even though I neglected to take pictures, the main reason we went over that way this weekend was to celebrate Grandma Bert's 80th birthday today. We had a nice family lunch and got in some more swimming even. I am blessed to have such a wonderful Grandma and to be able to spend time with her celebrating her birthday! Love you Grandma!! Happy Birthday!!
