Playdate :)

Ava has been asking me for quite some time to have her friend Marek from school over to play.  Well, we finally worked out a time in both of our schedules to make this happen.  She was beyond excited!  I don't think she stopped giggling from excitement for the first hour that they played!  They were a very busy pair all afternoon.

It never fails to amuse me that these "big kids" like playing with Blaine's toys more than Blaine does.  They had fun chasing each other on the little ride on toys.

They also enjoyed some time outside in the warm weather, even though it was EXTREMELY windy!  The trampoline is still in the tool shed for the winter, so made it easier to jump.  Marek informed me that his Mom would not let him have a trampoline, "even a safe one like this."  But he then also told me that I could get him one like this for his birthday!

They had a discussion as to who was the better Gator driver - each one was sure they were the best of course.  They also wanted to swing, so I let them haul the swings and glider out to the playset since they had still been put away in the tool shed for the winter.  They did swing for a bit, but I think that they then realized that I was right when I told them that it would be hard to swing when it was so windy.

Ava doesn't get a chance to have planned playdates with friends her age all that often, so this was an extra fun afternoon for her.  They were very busy kids - and Ava slept well that night:)
