Rock On!!

Some area churches put together a free Christian rock concert event this afternoon at the high school.  Ava and I decided to go check it out for a bit.  I was actually expecting a little different genre of music - Christian pop or worship bands, more like Mercy Me, Jars of Clay, Point of Grace or something.  But it was harder rock, which isn't exactly my type of music.  And I really wasn't sure what Ava would think either, especially since it was pretty loud and she typically does not like loud things.  But she LOVED it and had a blast!  And I was totally cracking up watching her rock it out and headbang around:)  We started out on the gym floor listening to a great comedian.  But then a band started and she couldn't see, so we moved up higher in the bleachers.  But I decided to move back to the floor when she decided to dance so crazy.  I noticed the people behind us cracking up watching her even.  I am just glad that she had such a great time at her first concert!  Wish I could have had a video of her rocking out - she did show Daddy how she was dancing when we got home though:)

John stayed home with Blaine, so they missed out.  Blaine has had a fever this weekend, so he stayed home to take a nap and play with Daddy.  Hope he starts feeling better soon, as he has woken up with over 103F fever the past two days.  I took him to the Dr yesterday morning, but couldn't find any obvious source of the fever - just assuming something viral that hopefully will pass soon.
