We haven't had an exciting, event-filled Holiday weekend - just spending sometime at home. I thought I would try uploading a video clip to see if I could make it work. I couldn't figure out how to rotate the video file after I downloaded it to my computer, so again, you will have to watch this little guy jumping sideways. He loves to jump in his Jumperoo and is usually all smiles:)

Otherwise, our weekend has been full of a lot of recovering. Ava has been sick with a fever and sore throat since Saturday evening when she fell asleep at the supper table. Blaine has had a slight fever and runny nose too. And this is on top of John's recovery. Many of you know that John passed out in the bathroom Friday morning and fell on the floor, chipping his teeth, cutting his forehead and gaining a huge black eye and swollen face in the process. This was the morning after he had a minor surgical procedure (yes, we have enough kids;)) and he had taken some hydrocodone Thursday night before bed. Not sure what caused him to pass out, just know that I heard a big thud and found him face down in the bathroom after he got out of bed to go pee. He has been on the mend on both ends this weekend, but is doing much better. I am doing great this weekend with no sickness or injury - just taking care of everyone else. What else would I rather be doing on a Holiday weekend??
