We had our first significant snowfall today! Ava was super excited to get outside to play in the snow. John was working this morning, but it was clear that she wasn't going to wait until he got home to go out and play. So I got her all bundled up, then proceeded to dig out John's bibs and coat (since mine no longer fit around my belly) and went out to play!
Ava thought that Allie needed snow on her, so used her rake to dump snow on the dog.
I did get the patio and approach shovelled while she played and she really enjoyed the small snow pile that I accumulated from this. It was great fun to roll down:). It was even more fun for Daddy to pull the sled over though! She got John to go out with her again after lunch - and they went out to the tool shed to get her sled even. I kind of intentionally did not bring up the sled when I was out with her since I knew she would never want to stop if I did! And yes, John was pretty tired and worn out from sled pulling after he came in this afternoon, but Ava claimed she wasn't tired at all:)
