Crafty Weekend

Ava enjoyed some craftiness this weekend.  Grandpa Woods had a birthday Saturday, so Ava and John made him a special birthday card - with markers, stickers, stamps, etc.  She ended up with multi-colored inked fingers after making lots of fingerprint polka-dots, but she enjoyed it!
On Sunday, I decided to make some dough Christmas ornaments with her.  We did end up with a bit of a mess and flour all over us, but again, we had lots of fun together.  John and Ava did most of the rolling and cutting out while I added the finishing touches before baking.  We ended up with around 37 ornaments I think, so she has lots to give away now!  She even had to make a green reindeer, so I proceeded to give it a yellow nose and now Daddy has a John Deere reindeer to hang on the tree at work:)
