Christmas Parade

After pulling her first tooth, Ava also got to ride in the Christmas parade with Daddy.  John decided to enter a Gator in the parade for Castongia's and even let Blaine drive his little Gator in the parade behind him.  Lauren came home with us from basketball practice and we had to stop at the store on the way to get some decorations and candy for the parade.  Wow - take 3 kids to the store and let them fill the cart with candy and they get really excited!  They promptly got out buckets and divided up the candy when we got home.  

 We added some decorations and hauled both Gators into town.  Ava and Lauren rode with John and Blaine followed.  The kids did a great job tossing candy and yelling Christmas greetings to everyone along the parade route.  Blaine was on top of the world, thinking he was such big stuff driving in the parade by himself!  It was so stinkin cute watching him follow Daddy - and we heard many such comments as we drove through the parade.  I think that John should have put the kids on the Castongia's payroll for the day!
