I have been getting out a bit more with the kids this week - I am getting soooo ready for spring!! Just a few trips to neighbors, library, etc, but it is still out of the house at least! After getting out to go to the neighbor's for John's haircut Monday, we came home to find a skunk wandering our front yard. He proceeded to wander up to the dog, where they had a face off, the skunk sprayed (right beside the house), then jumped down in the basement window well. After Ava and I tried to no avail to scare the skunk out from inside the basement, John ended up shooting him down there. We are finally rid of the skunk smell around here and on the dog! Ava loved the skunk adventure though:) Anyway, I just thought that I would share a few pictures from this week with you.

Big sister likes to hold Blaine too. She has started asking to pick him up or to carry him places though - which doesn't work so well. But if he starts to fuss at all, she is ready to give him back, claiming "Blaine wants you Mommy." Just like she only likes pee diapers - she is a bit of a "fair weather" helper:)
